Festive Winter Wedding at Hampton Court House, London

There is something magical about a winter wedding during the festive season. The cosy atmosphere, with candles, warm fires and everyone is always in good spirits around this time of year. Gee and Will’s wedding took place, just before Christmas, and had everything you’d want from a festive wedding. It was jam packed full of fun, music, Christmas trees, sequins, fur sheepskin and even ski shots! Sound like your kind vibe? You’ll definitely want to grab a cup of tea ,and take a moment to scroll through this gorgeous festive winter wedding in London.

The Morning

We started the day getting ready at Richmond Hill hotel. Gee and her wedding party had a chilled relaxed morning, having their hair and make up done. I loved Gee’s black fur PJ’s, she was having so much fun with her girls. Whilst we were getting everything set up at the venue, creating the most amazing festive winter vibes, at Hampton Manor. I then caught a cab and whizzed across to the hotel to make sure everything was running on time, and help get Gee into her dress. The bridesmaids had gorgeous burgundy velvet dresses, I loved how Gee leaned into the rich textures of this time of year. I rounded everyone up, as it was time to get leave. We hopped on an iconic red bus, and headed for the church!

Once the church service was over we had an epic confetti exit with flutter darling confetti and all the guest headed onto the bus, to the reception venue at Hampton Court House. Guest were greeted with bubbles and canapes, and the couple went off for couples portraits in the park.

The Details

The downstairs wedding meal was really coming together. There was an epic giant Christmas tree, long tables with gorgeous burgundy menus and runners.  We had the tables adorned with rows and candles, and stunning bud vases of red and whites. As well as furs on the chairs to bring the ski chalet vibe to the design. The tables were named after places the couple had been to. And to frame the room a stunning flower mantlepiece to give an inviting pull into the room.

The Meal

Once the meal began the fun didn’t stop, we had a surprise singing waiters during the meal, who got the party started and had guests dancing around the tables. Passing down ski shots and keeping the party going.

The Party

Never a dull moment, once the meal finished we had Matt the saxophone player start up, and get the guest dancing and ready to reveal the infernos neon ( which is where the couple met) and the evening party was ready to kick off. The first dance was full of surprises revealing some disco bunnies and funny cat faces. The band played into the night and guests were having a blast!

I loved being the on the day coordinator it was non stop, but a wedding jam packed full of moments and such a wonderful way to end the year!
