Romantic, Chic, Modern September wedding at Bredenbury Court Barns
If you’re looking for romantic chic modern wedding inspiration for your wedding day, then look no further. Laura and Myles day had such stunning little details and moments, as well as WOW factor florals and styling. Proving you can have a wedding that is full of your personality, whilst still feeling elevated and chic. I adored the colour palette, which had a mix of soft and vibrant mix of pink, lilac and orange. So if you love movies, gorgeous florals and cool modern stationery, then you’re in the right place. Let’s have a look at more from this stunning romantic chic wedding last September.
The Design
When Laura said she wanted flowers to be the main focus of their wedding. We went ALL out, working with Lucy Coco floristry we created the most divine ceremony with a broken arch and flowers adoring the aisles. Laura wanted the ceremony space to feel soft and romantic, and I feel we delivered.
In contrast to the wedding meal where she wanted it to feel fun, and wanted disco balls to feature as well as some EPIC floral hoops. So we decided to hang disco balls from the beams, as well as incorporate it into the table centrepieces, with disco balls with florals. Which just added such a fun details.
We had incredible stationery from Maple and Rae, which were all movies the couple loved (having met at a movie theatre it seemed fitting we added it in) We moved all the meadows to the meal to fill it with so many flowers, the scent was incredible. The linens we decided to opt for cream and have the colourful lilac napkins as well as those cool fun candles to add a pop of colour but let the flowers bring the colour in.
Ceremony
We wanted the space to be fully romantic, so we opted for a stunning statement floral arch to give the focal point for the ceremony. By using flowers as the main design element for the room, we could really create the romantic chic vibe. Not only did we have a stunning broken flower arch, we also had 12 flower meadows adoring the aisle, to create a run of flowers leading down to the broken arch. The softer colours in the colour palette were used to add to the romantic feel. We surrounded the registry table with florals as well, to make sure not space wasn’t filled with stunning flowers.
There were personalized newspapers, popcorn bags for after the ceremony (a nod to how the couple met in a cinema). As well as a fantastic string quartet ready to play Laura down the aisle.
Wedding meal
In contrast to the ceremony, Laura wanted the WOW factor in this space, and for it to feel more fun. So we opted for not ONE but THREE statement floral hoops from the beams to really give an impact of florals to the room. We also had hanging disco balls from the ceiling to add some sparkle and fun.
For the tables we had cream linens, lilac napkins, and fun modern stationery which just made the space feel more colourful and fun. Table names were named after their favourite movies ( which is where they met at a cinema)
We also had pink water glasses a stunning mix of candles, and disco ball centrepieces which added such a fun element to the tables. Plus there were little QR codes for guests to upload snaps to.
The Details
To set the tone, as guests arrived we had a welcome sign mirror and order of the day, so guests could do a fit check before walking in. Laura works in fashion so felt a fun little way to start the vibe of the day. With gorgeous meadows and disco balls which just added such a lovely touch and made the entrance.
As well as a gorgeous vintage cake made by their nan, which just added to the personal touches. And a cool phone box audio guestbook for the guests to leave some special messages, as well as cardboard cut outs of their doggies.
“We hired Amelia to style our venue in Herefordshire, from decorations to signage and more, and she was incredible from START to FINISH. From the first initial call, she completely understood our vision and elevated it beyond what I could even imagine while keeping it within our budget.
She was continuously supportive throughout everything, and on the day her and the team she had with her absolutely SMASHED IT... with an incredible amount of floral displays, signage and table designs to put up and set out in a really short amount of time. The venue styling was a dream, and had so many compliments about it! I would not of been able to done it without her and would recommend her to everyone and anyone. Thank you so much Amelia!! <3 xx
