Colourful, festival marquee wedding in Oxford

You guys are in for a treat with this festival marquee wedding. Get ready for a bold colours, jam packed fun & festival vibes set on their family field in beautiful Oxford. They really made their wedding day their own from the hand written names on leaves, to the Mr and Mrs Bull neon, and the stunning colour palette that tied it all together. Oh and not forgetting Olive their dog was part of it all.

Gaby and Jack were such an amazing couple to work with and their wedding day was the perfect sunny day in September. Like a lot of 2020 couples, they had to postpone their wedding, but it was definitely worth the wait. Their family and friends were so lovely everyone wanted to do all that they could to make sure these two had the most incredible day possible. They had some many amazing details and personal touches. Even Gaby’s favourite horse made an appearance. Make sure you keep scrolling to see more from this festival fun marquee wedding.

Getting ready

Whilst I was busy meeting suppliers, double checking all the details and doing some final prep in the morning. These guys were enjoying their wedding morning with their family and friends before getting ready to head the church.

The Ceremony

The wedding was set in beautiful village in Oxford, where we started the ceremony at the local church. Stunning florals in milk churn decorated the church & after they drove off in a vintage Landrover for some couple portraits whilst the guests headed to the marquee reception.

Drinks Reception

From the church is was a short 5 minute to drive to marquee. When the guests arrived they were greeted music by the brass bandits playing setting the vibe, there were drinks at the boat bar. And not forgetting the colourful festival flags and stunning floral arch which added an amazing statement piece! And a perfect backdrop for photos. Lots of personal touches with signs all made by Gaby.

Wedding Meal

The marquee was beautifully decorated with three stunning floral hoops, forest green linens which added a lovely rich tone, matched with stunning bold florals. It looked incredible, lots of amazing details with the table plan for an old dressers, the dried flower wall by me, and a cool bespoke neon, and handwritten place names on ivy.

Then it was time for speeches and a surprise guest appearance from Gaby’s horse. The meal commenced and it was delicious a relaxed sharing boards at the table, where guests would carve the meat at the table.

After a quick outfit change by Gaby, Mr and Mrs Bull had their first dance. It wasn’t long until the party was in full swing and the dance floor was packed, and my job was done.
